The MWBT Standard

Breeding Beyond Appearance

A powerful appearance may attract attention, but a responsible breeding program must evaluate much more. MWBT considers structure, movement, temperament, breathing ability, pedigree, maturity, available health information, and the strengths and weaknesses of each individual dog.

Intentional Pairings. Long-Term Vision.

Every breeding decision affects future generations. Our goal is not simply to produce puppies or pursue a dramatic look. Each proposed pairing is evaluated according to the traits we want to preserve, the areas that need improvement, and the qualities that should not be repeated.

No pairing can guarantee every outcome. Thoughtful planning, honest evaluation, and responsible selection help reduce guesswork and guide improvement over time.

Our breeding decisions may consider

  • Functional structure and balanced proportions
  • Movement and physical ability
  • Muzzle and breathing space
  • Temperament and confidence
  • Size and class
  • Pedigree and family influence
  • Genetic diversity
  • Available health and genetic information
  • Maturity and reproductive readiness
  • Previous production history

Medusa’s Pedigree

The Foundation of the Dynasty

Medusa is the foundation female of Major Weight Bully Tribe and a direct descendant of Mr. Miyagi, a widely recognized influence within American Bully history.

Her descendants form the foundation of the MWBT family. Public profiles provide immediate parentage and a concise lineage summary without overcrowding the website. Serious buyers and breeders may request additional pedigree information for a specific dog or pairing.

Transparency Matters

Health and genetic information is listed individually for each dog when testing or evaluation has been completed and documentation is available.

Testing varies by dog. If a result is not displayed, it should not be assumed that the test has been completed. Prospective owners and breeders may request the most current available records before making a purchase or breeding decision.

Puppy Socialization & Training

Preparing Puppies for Real Life

Puppy development begins long before a puppy leaves MWBT. Our program introduces age-appropriate experiences designed to support confidence, adaptability, communication, and a smoother transition into the puppy’s future home.

Depending on age and development, puppies may receive:

01 Gentle daily handling
02 Exposure to normal household sounds
03 Introduction to different safe surfaces
04 Human interaction and supervised social experiences
05 Early crate familiarity
06 Beginning potty routines
07 Basic boundaries and communication
08 Individual temperament observation
09 Age-appropriate movement and play

Every puppy develops differently. We observe each puppy as an individual and share what we have learned with the approved owner.
